High School Boys- The Breakfast Club (Fall 2025)

This group will be held at Messiah and co-led by Ryan Pfendler, Nathan Smith, Boone Jackson, and Parker Dwyer.

Our High School guys group, “The Breakfast Club”, meets every other week at Messiah for breakfast and Bible Study. In these spaces, we gather with good food to grow in relationship with each other and dive into God’s Word.

Here’s a little bit more about your leaders:

My name is Ryan and I’ve had the pleasure of leading Messiah’s youth ministry for 8 years. I have seen our teenagers come to know Jesus deeply, and come to him for the first time through the waters of baptism, and I am excited to see God continue to do His work in our church. Outside of work, I treasure time with my wife and our beautiful daughter Marigold. I am excited to lead your child in the knowledge of Jesus this year. Hi, my name is Nathan Smith. I have 3 kids ages 15, 13, and 10. I’ve been a member at Messiah for 13 years. I have worked in youth ministry for a total of 7 years, 3 years at Messiah. I’m involved in F3, love outdoor activities, watching movies and playing board games. I’m excited to continue working with the boys this year and helping them grow in their faith.

My name is Boone Jackson and I will be walking along side your son this year during our High School Boys Community Group. I was blessed as a youth to have leaders who encouraged me, challenged me and shared God’s truth with me. This is my goal as well! I will meet your son where they are, will not leave them behind and will encourage them to grow as leaders. My family have been members of Messiah since ‘06 and my youngest is a high school junior this year.

Hi there! My name's Parker Dwyer, I am so stoked to lead your kid this year at Messiah. I do heavy machinery and equipment appraisals and

liquidations for work. My hope is that I can use my God given abilities to serve, teach, and listen to your kid. I'm only 20 years old and I'd like to think I'm still “hip” or “with the times”. I'm really looking forward to this year and spending time with your high-schooler!

The group will meet the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 9 – 10:15am at Messiah.

The first meeting is Sunday, September 7th at 9am at Messiah.
